WITH THICK GREEN BOUGHS
A LOVELY SIGHT FOR ALL TO SEE
WITH COLORED LIGHTS AND ORNAMENTS
THE AIR WAS FILLED WITH EVERGREEN SCENTS
PILED UNDERNEATH THE TREE WERE GIFTS GALORE
THAT REACHED FROM LIMB DOWN TO THE FLOOR
AND THEN IN JUST A WEEK OR TWO AFTER ALL THAT ADO
IT WAS
G O N E
