My Guardian Angel

I fear the Lord, therefore I know
An angel follows me  where'er I go.

Keeping watch by night and day
Guarding my steps on life's pathway.

With gentle care and hovering wings
Sharing Hallelujahs that my heart sings.

And when my life on earth is o'er
Will carry me safely to heaven's shore.

And then at last I may finally see
The angel that was assigned to me.

Together we will ever sing
Praise and honor to Christ the King!

Note: I wrote this poem just several weeks before my near-fatal van wreck.

God surely had his angels at work that day for me.
